We diagnose first, quote second and repair third. That order matters: replacing parts until a fault disappears is the most expensive way to fix a car, and it is not how we work.
BRAKING SYSTEMS
Pads, rotors, calipers, lines and fluid. Braking is the one system where a marginal saving is never worth making, so we quote on what the measurements say rather than what the customer hoped to hear.
Discs are measured, not eyeballed, and worn parts are kept for you to inspect.
Typical Work
- Pad and rotor replacement
- Caliper overhaul
- Brake fluid flush
- ABS fault diagnosis
- Handbrake adjustment
SUSPENSION & STEERING
Shocks, struts, bushes, ball joints and steering components. Worn suspension does not just ride badly — it lengthens stopping distances and wears tyres unevenly, so it is a safety item as much as a comfort one.
Wheel balancing available alongside any suspension work.
Typical Work
- Shock and strut replacement
- Bushes and mountings
- Ball joints and tie rods
- Steering rack diagnosis
- Tyres and wheel balancing
ENGINE REBUILDS
Full strip, inspection and rebuild to factory specification. Components are measured against tolerance, machined where appropriate and replaced where not.
A rebuild is a considered decision, so we give you the honest comparison against a replacement unit before any work starts.
Typical Work
- Full engine strip and rebuild
- Head skim and gasket work
- Timing belt and chain
- Overheating diagnosis
- Oil leak tracing and repair
AIR-CONDITIONING
Re-gas, leak detection and component repair. A system that needs regassing twice in a year has a leak, and we find it rather than selling you gas again.
Because our electrical work is in house, an air-conditioning fault that turns out to be electrical stays with us.
Typical Work
- Service and re-gas
- Leak detection
- Compressor and condenser
- Pipes, seals and valves
- Climate control diagnosis
ELECTRICAL & DIAGNOSTICS
Intermittent faults, warning lights, starting problems, sensors and wiring. This is the work most workshops send away — we do it here, which is why the diagnosis does not get lost in translation.
Every diagnostic session ends with a written explanation of what was found and what it means.
Typical Work
- ECU and computer diagnostics
- Wiring and loom repair
- Sensor testing and replacement
- Starting and charging faults
- Lighting and accessories
HONEST WORK,
PROPERLY DONE
They were upfront, professional, and genuinely helpful from start to finish. They gave me detailed feedback on my car and didn’t charge for follow-up checks. The workshop is clean and organized, you can tell they take pride in their work.
Very pleased with the professional service I received at such professional prices. I had an issue with my throttle body. My car is now running smooth again.
No Subcontracting
EVERY REPAIR,
START TO FINISH
Mechanical, electrical, diagnostic and air-conditioning work all happen in this workshop, under one team. Nothing is handed to a third party and quietly marked up on the way back.
One team, one point of contact, one invoice you can actually query.
REPAIRS, ANSWERED
Do you do auto-electrical and diagnostic work in house?
Yes. Mechanical, auto-electrical, diagnostic and air-conditioning work is all carried out in our own workshop in Montague Gardens, by our own technicians. Nothing is subcontracted, so one team is accountable for your vehicle from arrival to collection.
Will I get a quote before any repair work starts?
Yes. We diagnose the fault first, then give you a quote. No work goes ahead until you approve it, and anything further we find during the repair is quoted separately for your approval.
Which makes and models do you repair?
All makes and models, including European and premium marques such as Audi, BMW, Jaguar, Land Rover, Lexus, Mercedes-Benz, Porsche and Volkswagen, as well as fleet and commercial vehicles.
Can a repair be done overnight?
Often, yes. Drop your vehicle off in the evening and collect it the next morning. Overnight slots are arranged in advance, so mention it when you book and we will confirm whether your repair suits it.
Is EUTOPIA Automotive an accredited workshop?
Yes. We are a MIWA-accredited, 5-star graded workshop and a member of the Retail Motor Industry Organisation (RMI), registration number 6005778.
